The "HUGE BRAWL" between the Chicago Bulls and the New York Knicks in 1994 is a memorable moment in NBA history, not just for the intensity of the fight but also because it happened right in front of then-NBA Commissioner David Stern. This incident occurred during the Eastern Conference Semifinals on May 14, 1994. ### Background The rivalry between the Bulls and Knicks was one of the most heated in the NBA during the 1990s. The Bulls, led by Michael Jordan until his first retirement in 1993, were a dominant force, while the Knicks, led by Patrick Ewing, were perennial contenders trying to break through to the NBA Finals. ### The Brawl The brawl took place in Game 3 of the series at Chicago Stadium. Tensions were high throughout the game, and in the fourth quarter, things boiled over. Derek Harper of the Knicks and Jo Jo English of the Bulls got into a physical altercation that quickly escalated. The ensuing fight spilled into the stands, with players from both teams joining in the melee. ### David Stern's Presence David Stern, known for his efforts to clean up the NBA's image, was in attendance, sitting close to the action. His reaction was one of concern and determination to address such incidents. The brawl drew significant attention and highlighted the intense physicality and sometimes hostile environment of the NBA playoffs during that era. ### Aftermath The NBA handed out multiple suspensions and fines following the brawl: - **Derek Harper** was suspended for two games. - **Jo Jo English** received a one-game suspension. - Other players involved were fined, and both teams faced additional penalties. The incident underscored the fierce competition between the teams and the high stakes of playoff basketball. It also led to stricter enforcement of rules against fighting and on-court altercations in subsequent seasons. ### Legacy This brawl remains a vivid example of the intensity of 1990s NBA rivalries and is often referenced in discussions about the league's history and the measures taken to maintain sportsmanship and order on the court.

Back watching June 2024 😮💨
Ugliest free throw dunk of all time. No dribbling, like he had his hand glued to the ball I suspect? His foot was way over the line & he straight dunks on his own face too!! Hilarious but very fitting for the skinny lanky white boy crew!!
this was crazy😂
lol the day that all those piston fans got dominated by 3 players
Who is the voice over guy? He worked on NBA INSIDE STUFF
One on one, my money on Vince 😁
This fight helps me cry anytime when i’m so angry at Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls.
I remember that toggaf Tim Duncan tried to blindly defend Bowen and say he’s not dirty. Bullcrap! There’s too many instances for them to all be unintentional or accidents
Wow ~~~ brent berry No.1 man!!! Wow~~~
MJ dribbled like in a real game not running with the ball!
1:54 crazy pass!!!
The 2003 Trail Blazers are the last time that the team came down from 3-0 deficit to going a Game 7 until 2023.
90s babies remember these knicks being from New York sprewell was that dude 😂
it's 2024 and i'm sitting in my apartment in the Bronx enjoying a beer by myself and i randomly thought about this dunk haha. loved Latrell's breakaway dunks and the way skipped and mean mugged the crowd afterwards
When men could fly. 🥲🥹
Stephen A lining ain’t so pushed back this video has to be old😂😂😂😂😂
Damn I’ve been lookin for this vid for a minute, Q’s McDonald’s rant kills me every time lol
2:33 - I will always remember.
could've gone for 80 in this game too
This is why basketball players can’t fight, random couch potatoes take their punches 😂
Man what happened to this vibe at NBA games. Folks were allowed to toss anything at the players. We need to bring this relaxed league back
Detroit is a Sh*tHole city
Vince Carter Buzzer Beater After the Slam Dunk
I remember when this happened. It was so crazy watching NBA players beating da shit out of the fans 😂😂
I still don’t understand why people think this dunk is so great. It’s a between the legs dunk from a two foot gather. He dunk it with the left because, and follow me on this, he is left handed
He brought the ball up above his head with his right before going between the legs. You had Vince catch it in mid-air in 2000 but doing it off the dribble is quite a bit harder. Everyone else before those two went straight between the legs. As for the left hand, I agree with you.
He's actually in the air before the ball starts to go between his legs.
@@quentinwooten30 yes, that’s what happens when you perform a between the legs from a two foot gather.
If you can't see why... I can't help you.
He was left handed? His in game dunks were mostly with his right hand his windmills and 360s were always with his right
I remember thinking he faked it as a kid because he didn't want to play for Toronto anymore.
Toronto don't want him. They decided build team around bosh.
Not A Suns Fan But 👍🏻
That’s a too 10 alley oop ever. So many people don’t even know it happened. It’s a 180, not even close to a 360 but still.
Detroit keeping it trashy as always…
"He's comin for dinner." LMFNAO.
Years later and this is still in my mind. Enjoyed watching Ben Wallace play and liked him a little less when he and the Pistons beat my Lakers lol but seeing how Ron was playing dirty against Ben had me irate but I know Prime Ben would drop Ron and Stephen Jackson.
Before ESPN, I forgot Mark Jackson was a Nets play-by-play guy.
Stumbled upon this…what a time lol
Just 4 dribbles!
Remember this live best letting go steam
Who said white man can't jump
My nigga Lamar Odom played like shit omg
Glad Big Ben and Ron Artest mended their Beef
Somebody knows when can i get the full game?
Without Kobe that lakers roster might be the worst roster of players in nba history.
Shawn Marion & Amar'e Stoudamire will be inducted into the Phoenix Suns Ring of Honor this upcoming season.
He's new name will be "POST MALONE"🤭
I don't care who you are, if you put your hands on my teammate I'm coming for you. F those security guards treating Starks that way, totally not their job. Defuse the situation yes but that's it. Love my 90's Knicks
